How we handle enforcement
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Most moderation on Probed happens inside spaces, by the people who run them. When we, Probed, act on an account, a person decides, tells you why, and you can reply.
Who moderates what
- Each space moderates itself. Its owners and moderators decide who joins, who's removed and who's banned, under their own rules.
- A space ban stays in that space. Being banned from one space doesn't touch your account or any other space you're in.
- Probed only acts on accounts for breaking our Terms of Service or the law.
What we don't do
- We don't ban or suspend accounts automatically. There's no algorithm that can take your account away.
- We don't run AI moderation over your messages, and we don't scan them for rule violations.
- A report on its own never removes anything. Reports in a space go to that space's moderators; reports about direct messages come to us, and a person reads them.
- Your messages are never used to train AI models.
If we act on your account
- A person reviews it first. Someone at Ginyu, the company behind Probed, looks at what happened before anything changes.
- We tell you why. We email you which rule we believe you broke and what we saw.
- You can reply. Answer that email, or write to support@ginyu.io. A person reads it and reconsiders. If we got it wrong, we restore your access.
Exceptions
We may act immediately, without notice, and sometimes without being able to explain, where the law requires it, where telling you could put someone at risk or hinder an investigation, and for child sexual abuse material. We have zero tolerance for anything that sexually exploits or endangers children: we remove it, close the accounts involved and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as US law requires.
Banned from a space?
Talk to that space's moderators. It's their space and their decision, so we don't overturn it, but it never affects the rest of your account.
What this isn't
Probed messages aren't end-to-end encrypted. They're stored securely, and access inside Ginyu is limited to what's needed to run and protect the service. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
