Probed is made by one person.
Ginyu is my one-person software studio. I've spent my whole career building products — years at big tech companies, and now small software of my own. Probed has no investors. It's paid for by the people who use it, which is how I want it.
Why I built it
I spent years in support communities that lived in chat tools built for something else, and watched them get worse as they grew. The same questions over and over, answers nobody could find again. But the good part was real: customers helped each other, and the community itself brought in new ones.
Probed is my attempt to keep the good part and fix the rest — talk to your customers in one space, with the ideas board, feedback, and public roadmap in there too instead of scattered across five tools.
How it's run
It's just me. Building products is the work I love, and I keep this one small and focused — that's why the price is flat and your members never pay. I believe in the future of micro-SaaS: small, purpose-built software run by someone who cares about it. I'd rather run a good one than a big one.
